5-Year Extended Limited Warranty
The T1A Auto 5-Year Extended Limited Warranty is an optional, paid coverage upgrade available at checkout. When added to your order, it extends standard warranty protection from 12 months to a full 60 months from the date of purchase.
What's Covered
This extended warranty covers replacement of the defective part when it fails due to defects in materials or workmanship during normal, intended use within the 5-year coverage period. If a replacement is unavailable, a refund may be issued at T1A Auto's discretion.
How to Purchase
The 5-Year Extended Warranty is sold as an add-on at checkout on eligible products. It must be purchased at the same time as the part it covers — it cannot be added retroactively after the order is placed.
Warranty Registration Required
You must register your order on our website to activate extended warranty coverage. Unregistered orders are not eligible for warranty service, regardless of whether the extended warranty was purchased. Visit our Warranty Registration page to register your order.
Eligibility
- Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
- The product must be installed correctly and used for its intended purpose on the vehicle it was sold for.
- Original proof of purchase and proof of extended warranty purchase are required for all claims.
How to File a Warranty Claim
- Confirm your order is registered on our Warranty Registration page.
- Email support@t1aauto.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and supporting photos or video clearly showing the defect.
- Our team will review your claim and may request additional photos, video, or details to verify the issue.
- Once approved, we'll ship a replacement part. Most warranty claims are resolved through photo or video verification and do not require the original part to be returned. If a return is required, we will provide instructions.
Shipping Costs
- Within the first 90 days of delivery, if the part is defective or we shipped the wrong item, T1A Auto covers all shipping costs — both
the return of the defective part (if required) and the replacement shipment. - After 90 days, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs,
including return shipping (if a return is required) and shipping of the replacement part. - Expedited or international shipping upgrades are the customer's responsibility in all cases.
5-Year Warranty Fee —Refund Terms
The 5-Year Extended Warranty fee is non-refundable, except when the part
it covers is returned in full accordance with our Return Policy within the 90-day return window. Returns of the part outside the 90-day return window will not result in a refund of the extended
warranty fee.
What's Not Covered
This extended warranty does not cover:
- Parts not registered on our website
- Orders where the 5-Year Extended Warranty was not purchased at checkout
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from accidents, collisions, or environmental conditions (rain, snow, hail, salt, flooding, etc.)
- Damage from improper installation, misuse, abuse, modification, or unauthorized repairs
- Parts damaged by other faulty components on the vehicle
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect function
- Labor, diagnostic, towing, rental, or any incidental costs
Limitations of Liability
T1A Auto's total liability under this extended warranty will not exceed the original purchase price of the part (excluding the extended warranty fee
itself). T1A Auto is not responsible for labor costs, mechanic fees, towing, rental vehicles, loss of use, or any other incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use, installation, or failure of any part — whether or not the part was defective.
This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state.
