This Privacy Policy explains how T1A Auto ("T1A Auto," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information in connection with our business, our website at t1aauto.com, and our internal tools and integrations with Amazon's Selling Partner API and Amazon Ads API (collectively, the "Services"). By using our Services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who We Are
T1A Auto is an e-commerce business that sells automotive products, including through our own Amazon selling account. We use Amazon's Selling Partner API and Amazon Ads API to manage and optimize our own business operations and advertising on Amazon.
2. Information We Collect
Amazon account information
We access data from our own Amazon selling and advertising account through Amazon's authorized APIs, using the OAuth (Login with Amazon) authorization flow. Depending on the permissions ("roles") we use, this may include:
- Orders, shipments, and returns information
- Inventory and fulfillment (FBA) data
- Product listings, catalog, and pricing data
- Financial data such as settlements, fees, and transaction reports
- Sales, traffic, and account-health / performance reports
- Advertising campaign data and performance reports (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and related reporting)
We access only the roles required to operate our own business and only for our own account.
Customer information
When you place an order or contact us, we may receive information such as your name, shipping and billing address, contact details, and order information, as provided through the applicable sales channel. We use this information to fulfill orders and provide customer service.
Authorization credentials
To maintain our authorized API connection, we securely store the tokens (such as OAuth refresh tokens) issued by Amazon so that we can retrieve authorized data without re-authorizing for each request.
Usage information
We may collect standard technical and log data (such as access times, device/browser information, and system events) generated when you use our website or when our internal tools operate, for security, troubleshooting, and service-improvement purposes.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to operate and improve our business, including to:
- Process, fulfill, and support orders
- Manage inventory, listings, and pricing for our products
- Reconcile financial data and understand business performance
- Create, manage, and optimize our own advertising campaigns
- Generate internal performance reports and analytics
- Communicate with customers and provide support
- Maintain the security and integrity of our systems
We use Amazon Information solely to operate our own business. We do not sell Amazon Information, and we do not use it for any purpose prohibited by Amazon's policies.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. We use trusted providers (such as cloud hosting, payment processing, and shipping/fulfillment partners) to operate our business. These providers may access data only to provide services to us and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of T1A Auto, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not share Amazon Information with advertisers, data brokers, or any party except the limited service providers described above.
5. Data Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Amazon Information and other data, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest
- Role-based access controls limiting access to authorized personnel on a least-privilege basis
- Secure, encrypted storage of credentials and tokens (never hardcoded, shared, or placed in public repositories)
- Network security controls including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and anti-malware protection
- Password and multi-factor authentication requirements for personnel
- An incident response plan with defined roles and procedures, including notification of qualifying security incidents involving Amazon Information to Amazon within 24 hours of detection
6. Data Retention
We retain information only as long as necessary to operate our business and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it within a commercially reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages.
8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than the one in which you reside. Where we transfer data across borders, we take steps to ensure it receives an appropriate level of protection consistent with applicable law.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by other appropriate means.
